I've been to the Library of Michigan twice now and it has been a great help. The newspapers that they had available for me was perfect! It helped so much, the amount of articles in the paper was overwhelming, but you can never have too much information. It talks about a strike that happened and people getting arrested and meetings. All of this information will help me greatly, I'm really nervous about the paper, I feel like it i so long!
If you feel like you can't write on the strike for that long it might help to broden your horzons a little bit. Look into the different "walking neighborhoods" in Grand Rapids and how they supported or didn't support the strike. Remember that I have a lot of the materials that you may need for this topic so feel free to ask me for something. Furthermore I am heading over to Grand Rapids this weekend to check out the Furniture exhibit in the museum so i'll let you know if there is anything really helpful over there.

Yeah I found the Library of Michigan Archives to be extremely helpful in helping me find whatever information I needed and the gentleman who was helping me even recommended a different box set that I had not asked for. Funny thing is that the box I asked for had almost nothing I could use while the one he recommended had a ton of papers that I was thinking about using.
